Redilight’s ingenious design brings an energy-efficient, solar lighting system to every room in your home.
Residential Solar Lighting

Kitchen
As the heart of your home, the kitchen should be a bright and welcoming space. Adding a Redilight fixture here creates a multi-point lighting system that will be at its brightest when the extra light is needed most.

Living Room
A Redilight system provides a bright and trouble-free lighting solution for the space where you connect with friends and family. And by adding a simple dimming switch, you’ll have the ability to change the room’s mood whenever you see fit.

Bathroom
Bathrooms don’t receive much natural light, which can make these areas appear dingier than they really are. A single Skyfixture will brighten every corner of your bathroom, giving the space a refreshing look and feel without an expensive remodel.
Redilight is made with versatility in mind. Here are some other ways you can use Redilight’s solar lighting system in a residential application:
- Hallways
- Basements
- Sheds
- RVs
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I install these myself?
If you’re familiar with basic wiring, then the Redilight system is relatively easy to install. You’ll need to be able to access the roof and roof cavity to complete installation. Visit our data sheets section for wiring diagrams and installation instructions.
What’s the difference between 3000K and 5000K lights?
3000K and 5000K refers to the color temperature of the light. With 3000K being more of a soft white with a warmer color range and 5000K being a more of a daylight with a whiter color range.
What impact will installation have on the integrity of my roof?
Redilight installation has a minimum impact on roof structure. The solar panel needs to be attached to the roof with only a few easily sealable screw penetrations. The wire needs to pass through a small hole that can be located under a roof shingle/tile and sealed.
“We are thrilled with our Redilight in the basement! It used to be very dim down there, even with the lights on. Now it’s light and bright. We have four Solatubes in the rest of the house, but they were not able to penetrate two floors, so Redilight filled that need beautifully!”
